The Library About Georgia is an independent cultural space and curated collection of non-fiction books dedicated to Georgia and the wider region. Alongside its library work, the team actively develops interdisciplinary projects that combine culture, research, and emerging technologies.
For Next Library Satellite Seoul 2026, the team presents an interactive game set in the historic Sololaki district of Tbilisi. Developed using 3D modeling and digital tools, the project explores how libraries can move beyond static spaces and become immersive, experience-based environments. The game invites visitors to navigate through a digitally reconstructed neighborhood, guided by real people from Sololaki whose everyday lives are integrated into the narrative. As players search for hidden objects, they uncover stories connected to place, memory, and urban identity.
Alongside the digital experience, the project includes a series of handmade zines, photobooks, and ceramic objects created specifically for the exhibition. These works explore connections between Georgian and Korean cultures, offering visitors multiple entry points into the project through both digital and physical formats. As the only participants from Georgia, the team aims to present not only a project, but a broader cultural context—bringing together storytelling, technology, and craft to create a layered and engaging experience.

Sopho Gokadze, Ana Barjadze, Andrey Aranovich are part of the Library about Georgia, an independent library and cultural platform under the Tbilisi School of Social Research. Their work combines research, curatorial practice, and experimental formats, including digital archiving, exhibitions, and interactive storytelling. Sopho is an alumna and current mentor of The Europe Challenge and participated in Next Library Aarhus 2024. Ana is a documentary filmmaker working across visual storytelling and cultural narratives. Andrey is a Game developer. Together, they develop projects that connect technology, space, and cultural memory.
