We’ll open Next Library Satellite Seoul by gathering all participants together for a shared beginning - welcoming the community, introducing the festival, and a fireside chat reflecting on the elements of community. The fireside chat will explore the making of Next Library as both a festival and a community, and the values and spirit it carries as it arrives in Asia for the first time, in a conversation between Marie Østergård, Library Director of Aarhus Public Libraries and Yoonmi Eom, CSO of SeeArt Foundation. The evening continues with an informal Get2Gether with food, drinks, and music, creating space to connect and ease into the days ahead.
May 20th   |   17:00 - 21:00

A daily opening session to welcome participants, share updates, and begin the day together.
May 21st - 22nd   |   9:00 - 9:30

Food brings people together - and this night is all about that. In small, hosted groups, we’ll head out to explore Seoul’s vibrant food scene, while sharing dishes and stories. Come hungry for both good food and good company.
May 21st  |   18:00 - 20:00

In collaboration with Wear Again Lab, we will host a clothing swap party where participants can exchange or repair clothes, share the stories they carry, and experience sustainable fashion together.
May 22nd   |   13:00 - 16:00

We will come together to gather the threads of the festival, share final reflections, and mark the end of the official program.
May 22nd   |   16:00 - 17:00

To wrap up Next Library Satellite Seoul, we’ll come together for a closing after party in a new space. Through shared food, music, Pungmulnori (Korean traditional percussion music and dance) and movement, we’ll reflect on the days behind us and celebrate the community we’ve built along the way.
May 22nd   |   18:30 - 23:00
