Next Library is an international gathering of library professionals, cultural practitioners, and changemakers. It’s interactive, playful, and hands-on—with workshops, Ignite talks, exhibitions, and co-creative experiences shaped by participants. Read more about Next Library here.
While many participants work in or with libraries, you don't need to be a librarian. The festival welcomes anyone curious about the future of libraries. Past editions have included artists, educators, designers, activists, and technologists, to name a few.
The festival includes four days of talks, workshops, exhibitions, site visits, and social events. Much of the program comes from participant proposals through our open call—so you’ll experience sessions designed by the community.
